Carolers Leave Residents With Holiday Cheer

Carolers in the Garden City Hotel Lobby and The Miss Arleens Belles and Beaus singing group had a ball as they caroled through the central section of Garden City.

On Friday evening, December 14, 2007, Miss Areleen's Belles and Beaus which is part of the Garden City Singing For Fun Group treated residents in the Central section to Christmas Caroling. The women all wore bonnets and all carolers held candles with the lead caroler holding a lantern. There was a dusting of snow on the ground and a chill in the air just enough to get everyone in the spirit. The group caroled their way to the Garden City Hotel where they had the honor to perform in the lobby. The night ended at Leo's where they wrapped up the evening with carols, food and drink. Great fun was had by all. "To see the smiles on so many faces was priceless" stated group member RoseAnn Vernice ".
