There was a burglary between February 8 and February 11, at a Garden City Plaza Office. An HP Computer System valued at $800 and an $1,000 NEC Laptop, was stolen... On February 5, in the afternoon, a handbag with credit cards and $526, was taken from the Medical Building at 520 Franklin Ave... On February 6, in the early evening, a Dell Laptop computer was taken from a locker at the NY Sports Clubs... Also that day, PO Hennessy was conducting a traffic investigation on Clinton Rd, and he arrested 1 passenger, a 22-year-old Hempstead male, for the possession of marijuana... A truck stop was conducted on February 6, at NHP Rd, where 13 trucks were inspected, with 5 trucks taken out of service; 22 for weight violations, with 72 traffic tickets issued... On February 11, 6 AM, PO Bandl responded to a 1-car accident (with a tree), at Somerset Ave/Kildare Road, where he arrested a 21-year-old GC male for alleged DWI (.13%)... On February 10, PO Bandl arrested a 26-year-old Franklin Square man for alleged DWI (.13%) and speeding at 45/30 on New Hyde Park Rd (also no insurance)... On February 9, PO Bandl arrested a 34-year-old East Rockaway man for alleged DWI (.13%) and speeding at 50/30 on New Hyde Park Rd (also no insurance and suspended license)...

FD removed victim who was stuck in an elevator at County Seat Drive on February 5...Natural ventilation was used after food overcooked on a stove at Homestead Avenue on February 5... A boiler pipe burst in a basement of a GC residence on the same day... The occupant at a Tullamore Rd. house placed aluminum foil under a bag of popcorn then placed it in a microwave oven, causing a fire there on February 7...Natural ventilation cooled down a sauna room at the GC Hotel on February 8. The temperature had gotten to 180 degrees...A boiler was shut down at Cherry Valley Avenue on February 9... FD helped police with victims at a 2-car-accident on NHP Road, February 9...
