PTA Offers CPR Class

The Health and Safety Committee of the Garden City PTA is offering a Red Cross CPR Class for middle and high school students. Students will receive certification in both adult and child CPR. This is an important class that could save the life of a friend or family member. It is also an excellent course for students who plan on working at the pool in the summer. The course will be held on Wednesday March 12, 2008 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM in the Garden City High School Auxiliary Gym. This is Parent - Teacher Conference Day so there is no school for students. Students should bring a snack and lunch. Nonrefundable checks for $45 should be made out to The American Red Cross, are due by February 22, 2008 and should be sent to Stefanie Granville, 260 Stewart Ave., Garden City.
