"Friend Of The Chamber" Merchant Card Program

The Garden City Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that its new and exciting "Friend of the Chamber" Merchant Card program is going very well! The program commenced on January 1st and is just another one of the great Chamber Member benefits available to you at no additional cost as a member in good standing.

Through this program participating merchants are offering discounts on goods/services or promotional items to card bearing members. Already many of the "Friend of the Chamber" cards have been sold and it is the Chamber's belief that many more residents, business people, and school age children will be purchasing these cards. Some of the participating merchants include: The Garden City Hotel, Grimaldi's Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria, V-Spa, Novita, Waterzooi, Sushi Ya, Keyfood Marketplace, Riesterer's Bakeries, Seventh Street Café, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Neptune Photo, Lord & Taylor, Taste, Gold's Gym, The Island, Hairvision 2000, G.C. Alarm, Loaves & Fishes, Town Meat Market, Garden City Wines & Spirits, DiSalvo Interiors and many more! This program encourages shoppers to frequent the participating local Chamber Merchants thereby generating additional business that otherwise may have been lost to out of town businesses or non-chamber merchants.

The "Friend of the Chamber" cards are available one of two ways; thru local organizations. These groups can fund raise thru card sales making $4.00 for each card sold or purchase your cards at Grimaldi's Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria, 980 Franklin Ave., Garden City.

Cards are valid for two years, cost $20.00 each, and come with a pamphlet explaining the program. Merchants are displaying a door/window decal that identifies them as a participant in the program. These cards also make a great gift, perfect for your Valentine! Cards will be available to purchase at the Chamber's upcoming Valentine-themed After Hours Networking Event hosted by Community National Bank of G.C., 6-8 p.m. Wednesday February 13th.
