Successful Tri-town's Holiday Luncheon & Shopping Event
The newly renovated Inn at New Hyde Park is magnificent. The holiday décor throughout the catering hall added to festivities and made it a wonderful time for everyone. The morning started with a gala shopping event. There were a number of vendors featuring beautiful holiday gift items like handbags, jewelry and chocolates to name a few. Some of the vendors who attended were Bernadette and Irene from Studio B. Hair Crafters of Garden City, Stella of Elite Chocolates, Irene Martinez of Southern Living at Home, Susan Ohngemach of Distinctive Indulgence, Monili Moda, and Linda Rubin of Chic Boutique. The vendors were generous and portions of the proceeds from the sale of their items were donated to UCPN.
There were beautiful raffles to bid on in addition to a Lucky Buck drawing to add to the fun. Noel's Garden Cottage located in Lynbrook donated lovely favors to each person who attended. Iris Alessi, past Council President spoke to the guests about all the fantastic things going on with UCPN. This gave everyone a better understanding of what United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau is all about and how people benefit from our support to this charity. Special thanks to Lucille Messina and the entire board for all their help and starting the Holiday Season off with such a wonderful event!!!!
