Physician To Be Featured In Health Channel Special

Internationally-known Long Island Plastic Surgical Group (LIPSG) physician, Dr. Kaveh Alizadeh, MD, FACS will be a featured expert in an upcoming Discovery Health Channel special on the topic of age management and beauty.

Recently best-selling author and renowned heart surgeon, Dr. Mehmet Oz and his co-author, Dr. Michael Roizen came to Garden City recently to interview Dr. Kaveh Alizadeh. The authors of the "YOU" self-help series brought their Discovery Health Channel production crew to LIPSG's offices to seek the advice of Dr. Alizadeh, who is a board certified plastic surgeon and skin care expert.

Dr. Alizadeh performed a complex skin analysis for each of the four patients brought to LIPSG by the Discovery Health Channel producers and suggested treatment options to help the patients look and feel their best. Over the course of the next few months, Dr. Alizadeh was followed by the camera crews as he treated the patients for the fine lines, wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation and sun damage that come with aging. The special program is set to air on the Discovery Health Channel in February and possibly on Oprah as well.
