Student Art Exhibit

Attention art educators: Those interested in participating in the 18th Annual Legislative Student Art Exhibition are encouraged to call the community office of New York State Senator Kemp Hannon (R-6th S.D.), at 516-739-1700, to request an application.

Note: Participating art educators must be members of the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) at the time of the exhibit deadline, which is Tuesday, February 5, 2008.

Some preliminary guidelines are as follows: Submissions are limited to 2 works per school, per teacher; Works must be two- dimensional and no larger than 26" x 30", including mat; Mat or mount work on a lightweight mat or bristol board; and Do not use colored paper, foam cure, canvas stretchers or frames.

The 8th Annual Legislative Student Art Exhibition will be held in Albany from May 12-16, 2008.
