The family of Ruby M. Duffy announced with great sorrow the passing of Ruby. She was born June 13, 1912 and after a brief illness, died December 16, 2007. They say it is not how long you lived, but how you lived and your life is measured not by the beginning and ending dates, but rather by the dash between the the dates.

How lucky our Aunt Ruby was to have lived a full life of 95 years. Her life was always filled with love and kindness. We were all blessed with the tremendous love and strength of Ruby. Her presence was one of grace and generosity. Aunt Ruby could never bake enough cookies for her family and friends. She always had chocolate hidden away for when her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews visited her home. At every family party, her hands were full of gifts for everyone.

The love of her life and husband of over sixty years, Arthur, passed away almost eight years earlier on January 6, 2000. We cherish the belief that they are together again and at peace. We thank you for all your love that touched Ruby's life. Please remember her in your prayers.
