Annual GCTA/PTA Blood Drive A Success

Long Island Blood Services was kept busy all day with a constant flow of parents, students and teachers.
The Garden City Teachers Association and Garden City Parent Teacher Association held their annual blood drive on Tuesday, November 13th. This year 180 pints of blood were donated - 142 traditional pints and 38 ALYX pints. From 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, students, parents, teachers, administrators and other school district staff members streamed into Garden City High School's gym to roll up their sleeves and make this most generous gift. Thanks to all the wonderful donors who helped to make this a very successful drive.
