Do You Play Chess?

Chess players from Friday's classes
Join the Oldest and Fastest-Growing Game in America: CHESS! Classes are being offered for children and adults in this classic game.

The Long Island Chess Nuts, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children reach their full potential through chess, invites all children (K thru High School) - from beginners to advanced players - to master this exciting game, and, to play others at their own level. The Winter-Spring Session begins on Jan. 24th, and will meet after-school for 12 weeks on Thursdays/Fridays, in Garden City. Give your child the joy and thrill of chess - it expands and challenges the mind; it improves school grades; and it builds self-esteem and confidence. Space is limited!

The L.I. Chess Club (sponsored by the L.I. Chess Nuts), a great place for adults to learn how to play the game, and how to improve, will start at the beginning of Feb., meeting once a month on Wednesday evenings in Garden City. All are invited!

Hurry! Don't be the one who can't play the game, or, if you know how to play, come for the challenge and the fun! Call (516) 739-3907 for more information and a registration form.
