St. Joseph School Launches New Website

Saint Joseph School of Garden City, which is dedicated to integrating Catholic teachings within a creative and stimulating learning environment, invites parents and other interested individuals to learn more about the uniquely well-rounded education it offers students, by visiting its new website www.advantageforlife.org

Visitors will discover how Saint Joseph School develops the whole person - from Nursery through Grade 8 - by providing a strong academic and religious foundation within a nurturing, small-group setting, giving students the knowledge, tools, and self-confidence for future success.

The new website shows how Nursery and Pre-K plant the seeds for children's full growth by stressing hands-on learning, including artwork that en-courages an early embrace of Catholic values, and playground activities that enhance children's physical, social, and moral development.

Visitors will find out how kindergarteners at Saint Joseph School build basic language, math, and computer skills, learn simple religious stories that convey vital messages of faith and caring, and get the individualized attention from teachers that increases knowledge and self-esteem.

When focusing on Grades 1 through 5, the new website shows how religious teachings go hand in hand with challenging reading, computer, music, art, physical education, and foreign language classes, and how children are offered an array of vital new growth opportunities - from book and chess clubs, to art and music programs, to math and sports contests.

The importance of developing the whole person is further emphasized in the website's segment on Grades 6 through 8, where visitors learn about students' intensive academic regimen, advanced math and computer programs, participation in charitable activities, and new leadership opportunities, including science fairs, drama productions, and competitive sports.
