Police Arrest Local Bandits

Garden City Detectives along with Detectives from the Nassau County recently arrested five teens for a series of robberies that occurred in Garden City, Bellmore, Floral Park and New Hyde Park during December 28-31st. In the series of robberies, ten male victims were forcibly robbed of cell phones, cash and clothing. The two robberies which took place in Garden City were on Somerset Avenue and on Cherry Valley Avenue on December 31st.

Garden City Police officers Detective/Sergeant Bartkowski, Detective Rothermel and Detective Madden were instrumental in assisting the Nassau County Police with the investigation and arrests.
