How Has America Changed Since 1945?

On January 16th, Community Club members and their guests will enjoy a presentation by Professor Robert Hoyt Block, Ph.D. on The Changes in American Society since 1945. The program will be held at the Garden City Casino at 1:30 p.m.

Professor Block holds a Ph.D in history from Duke University. Before retiring from Nassau Community College in 2007, he taught U.S. and European History as well as Politics and World Affairs. During his tenure he was awarded the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching by the State University of New York.

Rosemary McCarthy, Chairman of the Americanism/Current Events Department of the Community Club, invites members and their guests to join her for tea following the program.
