Epiphany Evensong At Cathedral

Once again, the Cathedral of the Incarnation will be offering the traditional Anglican service of Evensong on Sunday, January 6 at 4 p.m. to mark the end of Christmastide and the beginning of the Epiphany season. Epiphany is the time the church celebrates the arrival of the Magi or Three Kings at the manger in Bethlehem to visit the baby Jesus. This beautiful service will be sung by the Men and Boys Choir. It will feature The Magnificat (Song of Mary) and the Nunc Dimittis arranged by Harold Friedell. Appropriate carols will also be sung by the congregation and choir. All are welcome to come and enjoy listening and/or participating in an Even-song filled with uplifting music and quiet respite. For further information about the Episcopal Cathedral of the Incarnation and its services and programs, visit the website at www.incarnationgc.org or phone the Cathedral's office at 746-2955.
