The Garden City Community Council on Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention is pleased to present a Parent Education Workshop - Thriving Teens: Parenting For Positive Growth, from the Parenting Institute Of The NYU Child Study Center.

This program is specifically geared for parents of children 11 to 14 years, and will focus on how to help parents meet the challenges of raising teens in today's environment and how to reduce risky behaviors.

This free, 5 session series is built on the most recent research on what parents are able to do to maintain positive relationships with their teens, and what efforts keep teens on a healthy path.

This workshop series will be held in the High School from 7:30-9PM on January 13, 20, 27, & February 3, 10th.
