Louise Hess, Courtney Keenan, Novita's Manager Kristy Gilman, Renee Powers and Kerry Santantonio The Garden City Welcoming Club started off the year at Novita Wine Bar and Trattoria. The first couples' night out at Novita on October 4th was a huge success! The event was completely sold out! The Garden City Welcoming Club Social Committee made up of Heather Davis, Kerry Santantonio, Renee Powers and Louisse Hess, organized a spectacular event filled with lots of martinis, mixers and a delicious buffet. Novita was fabulous with arranging the event and excellent to work with. The Welcoming Club is very grateful to all of Novita's staff and to the owners for making the night so special. Many Garden City "Newcomers", Garden City Residents, as well as, friend of Garden City Residents enjoyed the night together with fabulous food, wonderful cocktails and great music.

The Next Couple's event will be Rock n' Bowl on January 24th from 7:30-11pm at Garden City Lanes. This event has become a tradition with the Garden City Welcoming Club and promises to be a great night out. The cost is $55 per person which includes, shoe rental, full dinner buffet and dessert, unlimited wine, beer, and soda! As with all couples events, Welcome Club Members, Garden City Residents, and Friends of Residents are welcome to join us!
