American Legion Post 265 of Garden City has honored the recipients of our annual Sutliff Memorial Scholarship Award at a recent meeting. They are Megan Belcher, Elizabeth DeBold and David Kadamus. These outstanding students were winners in the Girls State and Boys State Post paid week at upstate New York. This program provides the opportunity to learn the duties, rights and responsibilities of State Government by actual participation in a mythical 51 st state. Commander John Donovan presided. We are indeed proud of them.
