Residents are reminded that there will be no garbage or recycling pickup Christmas and New Year's Day.

The holiday collection schedule will be as follows:

Western half of Village Monday & FridayWednesday

(west of Rockaway Ave.)

Eastern half of VillageTuesday & SaturdayWednesday

(east of Rockaway Ave.)

Residents scheduled for recycling on Thursday, December 25 and Thursday, January 1, are asked to put their recyclables out on Thursday, January 8, 2009.
