This week finds most of our teams in the top half of their respective divisions in the highly competitive Island Garde Super League. Here's the latest highlights: HAYDEN 6TH GIRLS got their first win by beating Plainview behind the strong offensive play of Lindsey DeMars and the tenacious defense of Antonia Palmeri... TULLY 7TH BOYS won a close game over Half Hollow Hills 35-32. John Cauchi, Jack Gillan and Tim Feyrer provided key baskets, while Kyle Driscoll and Connor Donachie controlled the boards... GRANVILLE 7TH BOYS used aggressive defense to beat Jericho and improve their record to 1-1. Jonathan Granville's pinpoint passing, Kieran McGoldrick's ferocious rebounding and Lucas Hildreth's offensive skills helped lead the team to victory... GRANVILLE 3RD BOYS utilized the fast break to beat JCC Buchbinder and improve their record to 3-1 in the highly competitive Island Garden league. Matthew Granville's many assists, Michael Liberopolous' control of the boards and Aidan Byrnes' break away lay ups were keys to the team's success... HAMMERSLEY FLYERS, now 2-2, have been led by the backcourt play of Darius Iraj and Willaim Hammersley... RAPHAEL 6TH GIRLS continue to receive outstanding defensive leadership from Katie Roscoe and Morgayne Rix...
