On Thursday, November 13, The Friends of the Garden City Public Library sponsored a free Doo Wop concert by " The Tribunes ." A full audience smiled to songs like "Sincerely" sung in perfect harmony by a 5-man a cappella group. The vocalists performing were Mike Cuomo, Jerry Pilgrim, Roy Campbell, Les Levine & Shelly Wengrovsky.

A second free concert was presented on Sunday, November 16 with Plaza Theatrical Productions, who musically illustrated the life of Judy Garland in "Why Oh Why Can't I?" Vocalist Jen Kane, Dawn Klein and Stephanie Schrader sang with accompanist Adam Slawitsky on the piano. A totally packed crowd reminisced with melodies such as "That's Entertainment."

The fall season programs concluded with a concert by pianist/vocalist Mitch Kahn performing "Academy Award-Winning Songs."
