On Monday, October 27th grades K-1 from Hemlock, Homestead and Locust primary schools had the pleasure of gathering at Stratford for a production of Theatre Sports, an improvisational repertory theatre group. The show introduced students to the excitement of live theatre and involved them in a highly entertaining creative process.

The children were asked to participate as the improvisers challenged each other to spontaneously create scenes inspired by the children's suggestions. They were so excited and thrilled to see their ideas brought to life on the stage!

The performance demonstrated to the children the power of collaboration and cooperation.

This program was coordinated by the Arts in Education Committee of the Garden City PTA and GCUFSD Administration and funded by the Garden City Union Free School District.
