Second-graders in Miss McCavera's class at Stratford School recently performed the play "The Unexpected Guests" for parents, relatives and friends. This culminated weeks of preparation for the play. The students worked on memorizing their lines, remembering their cues and giving expression to their words and actions.

They were extremely proud of their accomplishments. They recorded their feelings throughout the process in written assignments. While they admitted to being nervous before the big day, they were poised and confident while performing.

They enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast in the afternoon and look forward to performing again in the Spring.
