Left to right: Ashley Zambrano, 2nd place, Maggie Rogers, 1st place, Anthony Gullo, 3rd place
Last week, the students in grades 6 - 8 held their annual spelling bee. Each grade level held elimination rounds and the winners from those contests represented each grade for an intense challenge. Maggie Rogers, grade 7, came in first place, with Ashley Zambrano, grade 8 coming in second and Anthony Gullo, grade 7, placing third. Thanks to Mrs. Keefe, grade 6, for moderating and Mrs. Implellizeri, grade 8 and Mrs. Coady, grade 5 for judging. Congratulations to all the participants.
