The Garden City Power U-12 Girls Travel Soccer team finished their season strong. On the weekend of November 8th they played Bethpage Thunder and put another game in ther win column. The Power beat the Thunder 4-2. The Power had an amazing and productive season overall finishing in third place. The first, second and third place teams in their division were actually very close. The Power finished only one point under the 2nd place team and only two points away from the 1st place team. These are some amazing stats and the coaches and the player's families are so proud of the girls. It was a pleasure to watch them week after week as they demonstrated great skills and tremendous sportsmanship. The Power's goalies did an amazing job only allowing eight goals to be scored by their opponents all season! The Power's goals scored vs. goals allowed ratio was 22:8. This was the best in their division. The Power finished up their season with some good fun and pizza. The Power will be preparing this winter for the spring season.
