Chamber, Historical Society To Host Yuletide Reception
Representatives of the Garden City Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Garden City Historical Society, Joanne Adams, Christopher Murray and Maureen Clancy.
The Garden City Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Garden City Historical Society will join forces to present a complimentary. Yuletide Cocktail Reception at the festively decorated Historical Society Museum, 109 Eleventh Street, Garden City on Wednesday evening, December 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is graciously sponsored by the firm of Reisman, Peirez and Reisman, LLP.
The Garden City Historical Society will present its annual A.T. Stewart Awards to a residential and commercial property that has kept their new or renovated property within the historic nature of A.T. Stewart's vision for the Village of Garden City.
To raise funds to fulfill its mission, during the reception, the Chamber Foundation will hold an exciting silent auction with an impressive array of prizes donated by local businesses and individuals. The mission of the Chamber Foundation is to provide an annual scholarship to a deserving Garden City High School student and to assist families in need within the community.
Members of the business and residential communities are cordially invited to attend this festive holiday event. The Museum Gift Shop and A.T. Stewart Exchange will be open for holiday shopping.
