Mrs. McCartin and Ann Amengual lead the children in a Halloween song. The children of Garden City Nursery School celebrated Halloween in a big way. The week was filled with pumpkin carving, Halloween songs and poems, special snacks, and of course, plenty of costumes. Children in the three- and four-year old programs came to school all dressed up as their favorite characters. When they arrived at school, they were thrilled to see teachers and staff in costumes too! All then proudly paraded around the playground with a crowd of parents cheering them on.

The children lined up on the "boat" to pose for a class picture. Thomas the Tank Engine came to school. Barbie Princess twirled for the class. A fireman, a penguin and a fairy started parading around the playground. Is that really Cinderella? No, just pretend. Ariel marched proudly. Superman showed off his muscles for the crowd.
