Kids Vote At The Library!

While the grown-ups were carefully considering their choice of candidate for U. S. President, the children of Garden City had a chance to vote, too! Children were invited to cast ballots for Favorite Children's Book in the Children's Room at the Garden City Library. Voting continued through Election Day, November 4th. Jane O'Connor's Fancy Nancy, a colorful picture book about a young girl who loves fancy things, was the winner! The Magic Tree House Series by Mary Pope Osborne and the Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling tied for second place.
