Holiday Fashion Show And Luncheon

Have you started your holiday shopping yet? Are you looking for something fun to do with your girlfriends?

We are pleased to invite you to the 2008 Holiday Fashion Show and Luncheon at 11am on Friday, December 5th at the Cherry Valley Club. The shopping is going to be fantastic! We have some great new vendors joining us this year, as well as our favorites from last year! You won't want to miss this fun afternoon.

Our fashion shows will feature Garden City's merchants. Coquette's clothing store, represented by Lisa Duff, will be featured in our ladies fashion show. In addition, we are thrilled to announce that the children's line will showcase beautiful clothes from Carol Mengels' stores, Ivy Lane and The Island, A Signature Lily Pulitzer Store. We have visited these stores on 7th Street. Now they will be bringing the fashions to us!

Cost for this wonderful afternoon of fashion and shopping, including a delicious lunch, is $45. Checks made payable to The Welcoming Club of Garden City should be mailed to Jeannine Votruba at 49 Locust Street. If you would like to be seated with friends, please submit checks together with a list of names. Tables seat 8-10. Please send in your check as soon as possible, so that we can accommodate your seating requests. The deadline in November 28th.

So bring your mom! Invite a friend! Just don't forget your checkbook! Along with the fabulous shopping, our vendors have generously donated terrific raffle prizes to support our philanthropic cause, CCAN, Coalition Against Child Abuse & Neglect. We hope to see you there.

A special note to new members...moving into a new community can sometimes be overwhelming. This event is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with your neighbors. If you would like to attend but are concerned about seating, please let us know by including a note with your check. Jeannine will be happy to help you connect to someone else feeling the same way.
