NSDAR members celebrate the dedication of the flag pole donated to the Garden City Historical Society .Left to right: Leslie Dimmling, Mary Poole, Donna Serpico, Betty Dreyhaupt, Isabelle Smith, Roz Dorn, Brian A. Pinnola ( President of the Garden City Historical Society), and Lynne Veitch. Members of the Colonel Aaron Ogden Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, attended the official flag pole dedication ceremony conducted by the Historical Society on September 13th. The flag pole and flag were donated by the Chapter in May. The occasion also marked the first anniversary of the A. T. Stewart Exchange consignment shop at the Historical Society.

The dedication prayer was offered by the chapter's Chaplain Mrs. Frederick Dreyhaupt. To commemorate the event, members then distributed small flags to all who were in attendance.
