Half-Irish, Half-Scottish Comedian Featured
"Half-Irish, half-Scottish and 100% hilarious," Glasgow's Eddie Devine has emerged as one of the funniest men on the comedy scene today. He's one of an all-star cast set to entertain a traditionally humor-savvy audience in Paddy Noonan's stage spectacular, "A Musical Taste of Ireland." It will be held in Saint Anne's McCloskey Auditorium, Dartmouth St. and New Hyde Park Road Garden City at 1:30 PM on Sunday, November 30. Tickets are only $25 each and may be ordered by calling 516-352-2457. The show is sponsored by "Msgr. John's Knights" (Msgr. John c. Seidenschwang Council Knights of Columbus, Garden City.) in support of their annual Catholic High School scholarship grants. Although Devine is no secret to Sottish-American fans, he burst into the Irish-American scene as a featured performer in Paddy Noonan's "Musical Taste of Ireland" tour. The response to his original brand of side-splitting, clean humor has been overwhelming and is preserved in his popular recording, "The Devine Comedy." Other features in the show include The Tommy Mulvihill Band; the lovely voices of Mary O'Dowd and Erin Quill: brilliant Irish tenor Brian Hunter, and the spectacular Irish championship Step-Dancers. The attractive cast is expected to draw a broad family audience to the traditional Irish entertainment stage of McCloskey auditorium on a Sunday afternoon. Repeat: tickets are only $25 each and may be ordered by phone. Please call 516-352-2457.
