On Sunday, November 16, 2008, at 11 am, Dr. Jeffrey Berger, Director of Clinical Ethics at Winthrop University Hospital, will present "Ethics and the Patient." Dr. Berger has published widely on patient rights, particularly end-of-life issues with elderly people, and the protection of human research participants in medical research.

The talk will take place at the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island, located at 38 Old Country Road, Garden City, NY (at the western end of Old Country Road, next to the water tower.)
