Golden Goose Gala And Candlelight House Tour

The excitement mounts as Twigs of Winthrop University Hospital Women's Auxiliary is poised to launch its signature holiday event, The 34th Annual Golden Goose Gala. This year's Candlelight House Tour Co-chairwomen, Pamela Hyer and Jennifer Miller, invite you to tour gracious Garden City homes festively decorated for the holidays on Friday, November 21st from 4 pm to 7:45 pm. Come view the architectural details, elegant furnishings, and decorative surprises at these elegant homes. The Golden Goose Gala continues its extravaganza with a Holiday Shopping Boutique at a new location this year: the Garden City Community Church, located at 245 Stewart Avenue, between Whitehall Boulevard and Kensington Road. This is a wonderful opportunity to find the perfect gifts for the special people on your holiday list or the ideal treat for you! The Holiday Shopping Boutique hours are Friday, November 21st from noon to 5 pm and Saturday, November 22nd from 10 am to 3 pm. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash and checks will be accepted. A portion of the Shopping Boutique and all profits from the Candlelight House Tour are pledged to Winthrop University Hospital's modernization of the Maternal and Child Care Units. Twigs happily welcomes volunteers to assist at the house tour and shopping boutique. Bring a friend or make new ones while helping to support a worthy cause.
