The girls began the weekend on Saturday with two well-played close games, but the day ended with the Force's record at 0-2. On Sunday, the girls were determined to change that and the Force came out strong and never let up. Each and every member of the team contributed to Force winning both games, and heading to Monday with a 2-2 record. On Monday, Force played Granby, the team which had already clinched first place in the tournament. The Force played their best game yet, and led 1-0 at the half. In the second half, every Granby scoring opportunity was denied by the Force and they won 1-0, to win 2nd place in the tournament. Each of the girls contributed to the success of the team, and as important, each of the girls had fun. The Windsor weekend was a huge success, and Force thanks their parents, and especially their coaches, Ed Walsh, Chris Rivielle, Joanne Schwendemann and Tom Gillan for all their support. Force also sends a special thank-you to Alison Metzler and the Cristoforos for organizing the evening activities.

Go Force!
