Andrew Menges, son of Elizabeth and Peter Menges of Garden City, recently began studies as a first-year student at Hamilton College.

Menges, a graduate of Garden City Senior High School, was selected from a record pool of 5,073 applicants to the college and joins a class of 462.

Hamilton College is a highly selective, residential liberal arts college of 1,750 students located in Central New York. The college is known for the rigor of its academic programs, especially its emphasis on oral and written communications.
