The national elections will take place on Tuesday. Many commentators have noted that the tenor of the election has gotten unpleasant in the last few weeks. Hopefully, once the election is decided and things are settled the nastiness will evaporate to some extent.

On a local level, as the date for the decision on the AvalonBay proposal approaches the tenor of the debate has deteriorated. We hope that the poll will help settle some of the disagreements which have arisen, and will guide the trustees in making their decisions in December.
