Brian Sinclair Grant, age 73, passed away on Friday, October 24. Born and raised in Camden, NJ, he resided in Floral Park until moving to Garden City where he lived for 35 years. He lived in Bensalem, PA for the last two years.
He received his Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from Adelphi University and was employed as an insurance underwriter. He was a history buff and also loved sports, especially Rutgers, the New York Mets and the Jets. After his retirement, he worked at Westbury Gardens. Once he moved to Bensalem, PA, he worked at Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA and would attend softball events of fellow employees. Brian always had a great passion for sports and a deep love for children. He was set to volunteer within the Valley Athletic Associations Youth Basketball program this winter. He was truly excited to be involved with this organization. Brian was dedicated to his family and his many friends and will be sadly missed by all.
Beloved husband of the late Joanne (nee Rositzke) Grant, he was the devoted father of Barbara Colvin and her husband Dwayne, and Karen Drosendahl and her husband Will, and the loving grandfather of Alicia. He is also survived by his sisters, Joyce Grant and Iris Lord.
Relatives and friends will be received by the family at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 8 with a funeral service at noon in the Hoffmann Funeral Home, Hulmeville Rd. and Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Beechwood Cemetery in Bensalem, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian's memory may be made to Falley AA, PO Box 448, Bensalem PA 19020
