Internet Service Outage

The Garden City Public Library will lose its Internet connection for several hours on Wednesday, November 5, due to electrical work at the Nassau Library System. During this time, library patrons will not have access to the Internet, the Library catalog, or other online resources.

Service at the Circulation Desk will also be affected. Books will circulate on a backup system. Please be sure to bring your library card with you, as staff cannot look up your number with the backup system. We ask for your patience and cooperation while we attempt to provide service without a primary tool.

The Library expects that Wireless Internet service will be available for laptop users. With the exception of the Library catalog, remote-patron access to databases should not be affected.
