This Sunday, November 2 at 9:15 a.m., Dr. Tom Ryley will address the Adult Forum at the Garden City Community Church. Dr. Ryley will talk on the "2008 Presidential Election"

Dr. Ryley received his Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University. He served in the Army as a lieutenant in the Infantry. He then attended the New York University were he got his doctorate onn Protestant Social gospel of the late 1900 century. He was a member of the faculty at NY City college of Technology of the CUNY for some 30 years. During this time he chaired the Social Science Dept in several occasion. Since he retired, he is an adjunct professor of History & Political Science at Malloy college.

Dr. Ryley is the author of four scholarly books on American History. He is an active member of St. Christopher Church in Baldwin and the President of the Baldwin Interfaith Council.

The Community is invited to attend the forum in the church parlor. Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ, is an Open and Affirming and Welcoming congregation.
