The Nominating Committee of the Central Property Owners' Association ( CPOA ) of Garden City is seeking candidates for Central's position of Village Trustee and Central's at-large position of Board of Education Trustee. The term of office for Village Trustee will be for two years from 2009 to 2011 and the term of office for Board of Education Trustee will be for three years from 2009 to 2012.

Residents from the Central section who are interested in being considered for either of the above positions are requested to secure an application from the chairperson of the nominating committee,Tom Simpson (747-2174) or any of the following members of the nominating committee : H. Arthur Anderson, Kathleen Horton, Daniel Karas (Vice Chair), Patrick Kelly, Wayne Muscarella, Joseph J. Ortego, and Steven Vincent.

The deadline for the return of a completed application form is Friday, November 14, 2008.
