Jack Kenny awaits a throw from the catcher Garden City FIRE played Garden City Spartans on Saturday and then took on the Garden City Warriors on Sunday. Friends and parents came out to cheer on the Village match up of some talented baseball teams! Both games were thrilling and entertaining for players and spectators alike. All teams had some excellent plays while in the field and at the plate. The boys should be proud of their continued improvement in team work, sportsmanship, and skill. FIRE had a split in the weekend series, one win...one loss. "Thank you" to all the dedicated coaches. A great time was had by all!!!
