Due to the overwhelming success of the Garden City Renegades Lacrosse teams and the Oyster Bay Lacrosse League the Renegades will be forming additional teams for the 2009 season.

In order to provide an opportunity for more children from Garden City to play, the Renegades will be entering teams at every age group (3rd-8th) and will for the first time hold tryouts/evaluations. The Renegades will once again play real lacrosse at state of the art facilities (most with FieldTurf) against some of the best teams in the tri-state area and will continue to offer the committed lacrosse player a more competitive experience.

Teams will be formed based on the criteria established by the Renegades, in conjunction with outside advisors and independent evaluators. The teams will be chosen objectively, coaches will be assigned and results will be posted on the Renegades website. Once teams have been decided we will hold a "Town Hall" meeting to provide parents and players detailed information about plans for the upcoming season and exciting new changes to our program.

All interested players must attend the evaluations to be considered.

7th grade boys 2:30-4:00 pm Stewart Field (Check-in at 2:00pm)

*Saturday November 1, 2008

6th grade boys 2:00- 3:30pm Stewart Field (Check-in at 1:30pm)

*the 6th grade evaluation was rescheduled to avoid a conflict with a Fall sports program.
