October 3, 2008 wasn't an ordinary Friday at Homestead or Hemlock Schools. Administrators, Transportation Employees, Secretaries, Nurses, Custodial Staff, Teacher Assistants, and teachers wore denim on this day to make the powerful statement for an important cause! As Lee National Denim Day celebrated its thirteenth year, Homestead and Hemlock rallied together to participate in this program which has raised more than $70 million dollars to date for breast cancer research.
