Pat DiMattia and Student Volunteers from the 2007 Thanksgiving Sponsor A Family Program Fall is here and Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away! The St. Joseph's Sponsor A Family Program is busy preparing to help over 200 families from neighboring parishes. We hope to make this a special Thanksgiving by providing the groceries for a complete and delicious turkey dinner for those families in need. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your blessings with others. It is also a nice way for friends, neighbors and community organizations to join together for this wonderful charitable event.

Please join us in our mission to help others this Thanksgiving. Information and sign up forms will be in the St. Joseph's bulletin this week (10/25 and 10/26) and next week (11/01 and 11/02) or you may call Lita Reilly at 248-5880 or Pat DiMattia at 294-9316. We encourage all Garden City residents to participate in this wonderful program.

The deadline to sign up is Monday, November 3 and the collection of the Thanksgiving grocery dinners will take place on Saturday, morning, November 22 from 9:30 to 11:30 at the St. Joseph's School parking lot.
