On Monday, October 27, 2008, 7:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria, please join us for an informative evening program as Garden City Public Schools presents its first annual Student Achievement Report. Hosted by Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Teresa Prendergast, with presentations by district Curriculum Coordinators as well as the Elementary Principals, this overview will examine the most recent results of the New York State Assessments for grades 3 - 12, as well as a summary of district accomplishments and challenges in its academic programs.
