Everyone had a great time at Build a Bear Workshop. On Columbus Day, the youngest members of the Welcoming Club of Garden City made some new friends. Our first children's event of the year was held at Build a Bear Workshop in Roosevelt Field Mall. The children were able to select a bear, fill it, and dress it in an outfit of their choice. The children and parents in attendance all had a wonderful time.

Our next children's event will be held on November 11th at Hotshots West Gymnastics in Mineola. Come join us for games, tumbling and playing on the giant whale slide. The activities will run from 11-12:30 and includes pizza and drinks. This activity is ideal for ages 2 and 1/2 and up. Please send your check for $13 per child to Candice Dunne at 114 Kilburn Road to reserve your spot.
