Last year with the tremendous outpouring of support we shipped over 600 Holiday Stockings to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan through AdoptaPlatoon. AAP is a not-for-profit organization managed nationwide by volunteer moms to ensure that deployed US Service Members are not forgotten by providing needed mail support and sending moral lifting gifts through special projects such as "Stockings from Santa"

Please help us to support this worthy cause by donating a holiday stocking or gift bag filled with items such as playing cards, yo-yos, athletic socks, jolly ranchers, chewing gum, small toiletries, energy bars, dried fruit, disposable razors, magazines, baby wipes.

If you prefer to make a monetary donation please make the check payable to Adopt a Platoon and mail to c/o Fischer, 37 Kensington Rd, Garden City, New York 11530.

Stockings can be dropped of any time prior to November 15th at 37 Kensington Rd, Garden City; a drop box is located on the front porch. If you need empty stockings please contact Suzanne Fischer at 516 739-5570 and they will be delivered to your home.
