Acclaimed Irish Tenor Featured In "Musical Taste Of Ireland"
When veteran Irish stage performer/director Paddy Noonan brings his all-star group of Irish performers in "A Musical Taste of Ireland" to St. Anne's McCloskey Auditorium at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, Nov. 30, you'll notice a look of pride and awe when Paddy introduces the handsome Irish tenor, Brian Hunter to an audience accustomed to the best in Irish entertainment. In Paddy 's words, "He's done it all!"

Seidenschwang Council Knights of Columbus, Garden City) as a benefit for Catholic high school scholarships. McCloskey Auditorium is located at New Hyde Park Road and Dartmouth Street in Garden City.
In addition to Hunter, Paddy's show will feature The Tommy Mulvihill Band, Scotland's funniest comedian, Eddie Devine, The Lovely Voices of Mary O'Dowd and Erin Quill, and the Spectacular Irish Championship Step-Dancers.
For more than a decade, Brian sang and arranged for the famed Welch Chorale of St. Philip Neri Church in the Bronx. His solo career began with his 1995 Carnegie Recital Hall debut in a sold-out tribute to Ireland's immortal singer, John McCormack. Brian now performs one of the more extensive international repertoires, including American, German, French, Italian, Spanish, English, Latin and Irish. His recording, "The Same Great Love Song," is dominated by his Irish tenor repertoire. and is thematically summed up by his original lyrics and music in the title track.
On the operatic stage, Brian has performed roles in La Boheme, The Magic Flute, La Traviata as well a variety of musical and light operatic roles in Anything Goes, Babes in Arms, Cox and Box et al. . A composer as well, Brian has given concerts in Carnegie Hall, Christie's Gallery, Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Club and Steinway Hall.
Brian is a frequent star as both a Classical and Irish Tenor on major cruise ships, including Silversea, Cunard and Sea Cloud Cruises, collaborating with such stars as the Metropolitan Opera's Roberta Peters, Sherril Milnes, Victoria Livengood and Rebecca Copley.. He has entertained numerous German and English speaking audiences on the Danube, Rhine, Main and Moselle Rivers.
He made his solo TV debut as the Irish tenor for the NBC broadcast of the 2002 St. Patrick's Day Parade. He was the featured soloist for the St. Patrick's Day Dinner Gala at the Waldorf-Astoria in honor of that year's Grand Marshal, Edward Cardinal Egan.
Brian gave his Dublin debut at the National Concert Recital Hall to critical acclaim and gave his Lincoln Center debut at Alice Tully Hall in an all-Irish celebration of Celtic S Music and Dance with the famed Irish Folk Group, "Cherish the Ladies. "
