The Stars demonstrated tremendous skills in their 4 wins over the weekend. Again, all of the wins were by shutout, giving the Stars a total of 8, yes that is 8 shutouts!

In the big game of the weekend, The Shooting Stars played to a 0-0 tie Vs. a very tough Glastonbury Ct team. The game was everything that is great about travel soccer at this level. Strong offensive pushes, outstanding defense all game long and tremendous work in the net by the goalkeepers - all leading to a highly intense and extremely exciting tie game. Giving the Stars a share of first place in the tournament! Both teams played great and demonstrated great sportsmanship in a very tough game.

The weekend was fun-filled for all, as the Shooting Stars bonded as a team through group activities, fun parties and lots of hard work on the soccer field.
