Until recently, John Gibson was an anchor on the Fox News Channel (FNC) and host of The Big Story. He had joined Fox News in 2000 as host anchor of Fox News Live.

Previously, John had hosted talk news programs on MSNBC; and before that, hosted a news program for America's Talking. In the early days of his career, he had served as a west coast correspondent for NBC News Channel.
