The Western Property Owners Association (WPOA) is seeking applicants for the position of Village Trustee (two-year term); term begins in April 2009. Any resident of the Western Section of the Village who is interested is urged to submit a letter of interest and a resume to: Mr. Tom Whalen, WPOA Secretary, 41 Dartmouth Street, Garden City, NY 11530. The deadline for submission of applications is Monday, November 24. Interviews with applicants will take place during the end of November and mid December, and the Nominating Committee will make its recommendation for trustee at the January general meeting of the WPOA.

The next general meeting of the Western Property Owners Association is Wednesday, November 12, 8 p.m. at Homestead School.

The Western Section of Garden City is bordered on the north by the main line of the LIRR, on the east by the west side of Tanners Pond and Edgemere Roads, on the south by Cambridge Avenue and on the west by Jefferson Street.
